Additional features for corporate use

     Other features have been added for corporate use. Their purpose is to centralize management, simplify record-keeping, and ease the exchange of information within the areas specified for corporate use. As of this moment, the following functions have been added:

     Logging of all correspondence on the server. All employee correspondence is kept and saved centrally on the server.

     Retention of correspondence in channels. This function makes it possible to display previous correspondence when entering the main channel. You can specify the time interval for which correspondence is displayed, and also for which channels this function will be accessible. The interval is set in days starting from the beginning of the day. For example, the value “1” will display all the correspondence from the beginning of the current day.

     Forcing client options. This function allows you to designate values you need for certain options on the client side. Users who have connected to the server will not be able to change the designated list of options to other values.

     Forcing channels. This function allows you to centrally distribute users into various channels. If you use this option, users will not be able to leave the channels to which they have been assigned.

     Forcing a user group. This function allows you to designate user groups on the server. You can allow users to further modify the groups or you can fix the groups so they cannot be changed.

Additional features for home networks

     There are additional functions for large home networks that allow you to monetize the project (display advertising) and make it easier to use the program, provided that CommFort is one of the service providers. The following functions are currently available:

     Advertising block. You can generate revenue from advertising set by the CommFort server. An advertising block will be set in the upper section of the main client window below the channel banner. Up to 32 banner ads can be placed at the same time, each of which can contain multiple scrollable pages.

     Changing system messages. The user entrance and exit messages are an essential part of the information published in channels. To add some variety, you can set up several variants of a given system notification, which will then be selected at random.

     Update notifications. The program can send an automatic reminder of a necessary client-side update at every sign-in. The contents of such a reminder are determined by an administrator.

     All-in license holders can enjoy a limited custom adaptation of the software at no additional cost. The adaptation shall be agreed upon exclusively before the purchase.
